How to choose the right size
Sizes show both age and height. Choose by height. The age is only a guide. Kids grow when they feel like it. Size up if in doubt. Where a product lists waist or hip measurements, check those too.
How tall are they?

Not every piece comes in every size. Check the size options on each product.
Single sizes
Most pieces come in single sizes, 6cm apart in height. Each size fits about 3cm either side of its number, so 5Y/110 fits a height of roughly 107–112cm.
Double sizes
Some pieces come in double sizes, such as 4–5Y/104–110. These jump 12cm from size to size and are used where the fit has more give: outerwear, knitwear and underwear. Room to grow is built into the design, so a double size fits closest to its larger number.
Measuring
Measure standing against a wall, without shoes, heels together. Mark the top of the head and measure from the floor.
In between sizes
Choose the larger size. A little room to grow is a good thing, and we know they can grow overnight.
Hats
Measure around the head, just above the ears and eyebrows.
| Head | Roughly |
|---|---|
| 40–42cm | 2–4 months |
| 44–46cm | 6–9 months |
| 48–50cm | 1–3 years |
| 52–54cm | 4–10 years |
Some caps come in age ranges instead. Those are listed on the product.
